Privacy Policy

The protection of your personal data is a major and very important concern for us. We therefore process your personal data in accordance with the applicable legal provisions, in particular the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (SR 235.1 Data Protection Act, "FADP") and, where applicable, Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (EU General Data Protection Regulation, "GDPR"). We would therefore like to inform you in detail below about which personal data is processed when you visit our website.

The definitions of the terms used in this statement (e.g. personal data, data subject, processing, controller, processor) can be found in Art. 5 FADP, the corresponding terms according to the GDPR in Art. 4.

Name and contact details of the controller

The controller within the meaning of the data protection provisions for the processing of personal data is:

Storage period

In principle, your personal data will be deleted as soon as the purposes for which it was processed have been fulfilled. You will find details of specific deletion periods below.

If you have given us your consent for specific processing, your personal data processed for this purpose will also be erased as soon as you withdraw your consent and there is no other legal basis for further processing. This does not affect the lawfulness of the processing carried out on the basis of your consent up to the time of revocation.

Your personal data will be erased if you object to the processing and there are no overriding legitimate grounds for further processing.

However, deletion is not possible if further processing is necessary to fulfil a legal obligation to which we are subject or if this is necessary for the assertion, exercise or defence of legal claims. In such cases, we will restrict the processing of your personal data until it can be erased.

Web server log files

The following information is collected without any action on your part and stored until it is automatically deleted.

We process the aforementioned data for the following purposes:

  • Enabling a smooth connection to the website and use of our website, and if necessary;

The data in the log files is deleted after seven days at the latest.

Links to other websites

Our website may contain links to other websites for which we are not responsible and over which we have no control. Such websites are therefore not covered by this privacy policy. Rather, the data protection information of the respective website provider applies, who is responsible in particular for the content and data protection law.

When you click on such a link, personal data may be transferred from you to this provider. We have no influence whatsoever on the further use of your data by these providers. Depending on the provider, your personal data may also be processed outside Switzerland or outside the scope of the GDPR and may therefore be associated with higher data protection risks. In particular, the assertion of your rights as a data subject may not be guaranteed or may be more difficult there.

Cooperation with processors and third parties

We sometimes use external service providers or processors to process your data. These include, in particular, service providers who provide us with technical support (e.g. web designers, programmers). These have been carefully selected and commissioned by us, are bound by instructions and are regularly monitored. In the case of contract processors, this is done on the basis of contract processing agreements.

Personal data is only disclosed abroad if an appropriate level of protection can be guaranteed in accordance with the applicable legal provisions.

Otherwise, we will only pass on your data to third parties if one of the following legal bases exists:

  • You have given us your consent to do so.
  • The disclosure is necessary for the assertion, exercise or defence of legal claims and there is no overriding legitimate interest on your part in the non-disclosure.
  • There is a legal obligation for the disclosure.
  • The disclosure is necessary for the fulfilment of a contractual relationship. This includes pre-contractual measures.

Your rights as a data subject

You have the following rights with regard to your personal data processed by us:

  • Right to information about your personal data processed by us.
  • Right to rectification of your incorrect or incomplete personal data.
  • Right to erasure of your personal data.
  • Right to restriction of processing or objection to processing: Prohibition of certain data processing.
  • Right to data disclosure or transfer: You have the right to receive your personal data that you have provided to us in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format or to request that it be transferred to another controller.
  • Right to withdraw consent: You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. This does not affect the lawfulness of the processing carried out on the basis of the consent up to the time of revocation.
  • Right to lodge a complaint with a competent data protection supervisory authority.

To assert your rights, please contact the controller. You can find their contact details above.

Protection of your personal data

We take suitable technical and organisational measures appropriate to the risk in order to protect your personal data and comply with all applicable data protection regulations.
